Yes, it's true. Two days before the celebration of America's birth, it died, all because I missed a day of blogging on July 2. I am sorry, America, but it was a good ride while it lasted.
I may have missed a day, but I still walked. On Wednesday, July 1, I walked 11,070 steps. Yesterday, I walked 12,831 steps. As of this moment, 6:32 p.m. on July 3, 2009, I have in total walked 96,230 steps in 8 days.
To remember what we left behind when we kicked the British out of our little country 233 years ago, today's picture is of folks in Hyde Park on a Sunday Sunday afternoon in October a couple of years ago. Dang, this is what we left behind.
